I Thought I Was Dying. Then Everything Was Perfect.

Sascha Kuhlmann — Certified 5-MeO-DMT Integration Specialist (Mindscape Psychedelic Institute, 2025)

In October 2018, I sat in a cabin in the California redwoods and inhaled 5-MeO-DMT for the first time. I had no idea what non-duality meant. No framework for ego dissolution. No preparation beyond a single phone call.

My Story

I yanked at my shirt, convinced I couldn't breathe. This is it, I thought. I'm dying.

Then the surrender. Then bliss so complete that even a gas-powered leaf blower echoing through the canyon sounded like perfection. I smiled so hard the muscles in my head cramped. I walked to a redwood tree, touched it, and wept.

I went back to my life changed — but I didn't know how to stay changed.

The Cost of Not Integrating

For the next four years, I had profound experiences but didn't do the integration work. Two value systems started living in my body: the old me, running on decades of conditioning, and a new self trying to emerge.

I stayed too long in a career that fit the old version. I kept drinking, even as I sensed it was clouding something. The conflict built until 2022, when I burned out completely.

That same year, at a retreat in Mexico, I finally felt radically cleansed — no shame, no guilt, no fear. And then the real question hit me:

"If my temple is now clean, how do I keep it that way?"

The Changes

I stopped drinking on November 1st, 2022. Not because I was an alcoholic — I wasn't — but because I realized even one beer could shift my mindset and trigger rumination. Keeping the temple clean means being honest about what clouds your clarity.

I left my corporate career in 2023 after two decades. The job hadn't changed — I had. The satisfaction of closing multimillion-dollar deals with Fortune 500 companies just wasn't there anymore. The new me was looking for something different: direct impact on the humans around me, not helping large corporations optimize their costs and revenue.

I got certified as a 5-MeO-DMT Integration Specialist through Mindscape Psychedelic Institute with Prof. Martin Ball, Ph.D. — training in nondual energetics, somatic processing, reactivations, and integration techniques.

Why I Do This Work

I know what it's like to have a mystical experience with no framework. To come back changed but confused. To feel two versions of yourself at war. To burn out because you didn't integrate.

I also know what's possible when you do the work: clarity, alignment, a life that actually fits who you've become. Integration isn't about processing a trip.

It's about changing how you think, feel, speak, and act — every day. That's what I help people do.
